I started Drifting at the age of 12. After watching a BDC event with my Dad and going out in his car a couple of times to a local practise event, I wanted to learn too. I started lessons at PH Drift, a Professional Drifting academy, who we still work with to this day. I learned all the basics, mainly at Teesside Autodrome. I then got my own car, a BMW Compact with a 2.5 litre engine and put all the skills I had learned into practise at various local days then eventually grass route competitions.
In 2021 I entered BDC Foundation and gained entry in to the British Drift Championship at 14 years old! One of the youngest ever to drive at that level. I had a great year but unfortunately the Championship folded. I then went on the compete in Drift League GB in my 350BHP 2JZ Powered BMW E46 that I still drive today, taking First Place twice that year!
At the end of 2023, I entered Drift Pro Championship Lights to gain entry into the main Drift Pro Championship, the only Motorsport UK recognised Drift Championship.
I am Pleased to say I came third in that event, gaining a step on the Podium and an invite to drive in the main championship in 2024. With only 24 UK drivers chosen, this was a great achievement at age 16!
